Vendors

Working with Coastal

We rely on dependable local trades. Here's what we need from vendors so work can be scheduled, approved, and paid without delays.

Insurance and licensing

Current general liability and workers' compensation certificates, and an active California contractor's license where the work requires one, must be on file before work is scheduled.

Proposals

Send written proposals with a defined scope, exclusions, and pricing. Board approval is required for most work before it can be authorized.

Work orders

Work should only begin after a written authorization or work order from Coastal. Emergency work should be reported to the office the same day.

Invoicing

Invoices must reference the association, property, and work order or proposal so they can be coded and processed on the association's payables schedule.
